Geico Insurance as a name dates right
back to 1936, when its first customers were government employees
and military personnel. Hence the acronym, Government Employees
Insurance Company. The founder of Geico Insurance was Leo Goodwin
who set the company up with the ambition of driving down insurance

policyholders, and in terms of auto insurance they insure more than
8.5 million vehicles. They are in fact the ranked by A.M Best as
the 5th largest private passenger auto insurer in the United States,
and have over $13.7 billion in assets. Another little known fact
is that they are also the largest direct marketer in the United

Geico Insurance are now a subsidiary of Berkshire
Hathaway, the company headed by billionaire Warren Buffet. So they
